  does anyone feel messed up sexually because of being brought up as jw? like you have missed out, etc?

  hiya,.

  i'm new to this forum but just wanted to talk to somebody about this.. i was brought up as a jw and left just over a year ago.

  i'm now 26 and feel messed up sexually.

  I know lots of people, I have been out of the tower for 30 years.

  The world is full of men who cant stay in a relationship because they are thinking of other women.

  I think you are normal.

  You have to decide what you want in life and go for it.

  A relationship requires work and has benefits. It has upsides and downsides.

  At 26 you are still a young man. Some of what you say I dont understand. You say "you cant stay in a relationship because you keep

  thinking of other women... since you have only had 1 partner. If you cant stay in a relationship, it seems like you have had more than one

  relatioships and therefore partners.

  i'm not paying more than our house payment for vince and i to see a show.

  i will buy the video and watch it nekkid.. the last time i saw them was in 1994 at legion field with my best friend.

  we still say after all these years it was one of the best nights of our lives.. .

  Can YOU solve the following Paradox??

  before i address the paradox (a statement that contradicts itself) i want to insert a fact from history.. .

  the romans used a malleable (and highly poisonous) metal (lead) for water pipes and conduits.

  as snows melted into pure water, it was channeled into sluices and pipes made of lead that ran through the cities as drinking water.. .

  this is a melancholy day for me.

  over the past few years i have been studying american politics and have enjoyed learning perspectives from different ideologies.

  i personally lean towards conservative values when it comes to creating legislature, however i am socially liberal.

  Plus Romney made a bad choice with Paul Ryan. Another bullshxter.

  Romney and Ryan couldn't even win their own states Mass, and Wisconsin.

  Why would the rest of the country want those 2 clowns?

  i have wrote six pages so far it seems the more i write the more i have to say .i have many mixed thoughts its frustrating to have to go this.

  i wish i could just fade but that is not possable.

  I have been out of the tower since 1983. 30 years.

  My wife and I just went to a large family JW wedding.

  Our JW family had an expensive 40th wedding aniversary for my wife and I. 100$ a plate.

  We both just stopped going to meetings. We didnt write any letters or get disfellowshipped.

  My wife celebrates all the hollidays and decorates the house full tilt for Xmas.

  My mother and brother who wrote letters dissassociating themselves are

  not invited or welcome to any JW family festivities. They were not even allowed to come

  to our 40th Wedding aniversary.

  I wouldnt write any letters to the JW's.

  If you do you are playing their game.

  If you play their game you cant win.

  The only person in the organization who cares about your letter is you.

  But it will be totally used against you.

  Anyone with blood pressure problems?

  i stop taking my blood pressure meds.

  the other day.

  while at the dentist they took my blood pressure, 177 over 101.. i,am taking my pressure pills again.

  My blood pressure was high. I worked in law enforcement as a detention officer. I retired in March and I started playing soccer. My blood pressure has come way down to 117/68. In my case several hours of physical activity a week makes a world of difference.

  Would doubting Thomas be an atheist today?

  how could it be reasonable for jesus to condemn skeptics today when one of his own apostles, who had witnessed jesus pre-death miracles, refused to believe in the resurrection until he had physical proof?.

  doesn't the fact that jesus willingly gave thomas the requested proof set a precedent for all other skeptics down through time?

  isn't the burden of proof on jesus to provide indisputable evidence that he is now alive given that so much time has passed since his claimed resurrection, and until he does that, it would be immoral for jesus to judge anyone?.

  I think a skeptic/atheist with a well thought out reason to doubt, not believe is more spiritually/ God concerned than the multitudes who just dont care one way or the other.,
